Dear Darlaa,
Hey, how have you been ? It’s a
long time right?
Darlaa… Last Saturday, I went to hospital with my friends.
We went there to see Stephanie. Stephanie Lawrence. Stephanie was in the same
class with me when we were in Junior High School. Usually I called her SL or
“Dora”. I sat at the forth row, and she is the fifth. Actually we were not
really close. But if I thought a little bit far, we were having fun at that
time. We cheated each other when having exam. We often got into a group.
Sometimes we talk about everything when she moved to my seat. And then at high
school, she moved to another school. I just met her last time when I went to
Sun Plaza with my sister. And then we started to talk about our work and uni
life. That’s the last time I met her before that Saturday.
Do you know how is her condition ? She is in comma. She has
benn like this for some weeks. Her mom asked us to forgive Stephanie if she had
done something wrong, please forget anything that Stephanie did wrong, please
pray for her to wake up soon. My eyes was really hot at that time. But you may
not cry in front of them. My friend is not died yet ! She still survive for her
life. Her mother told us that her brain is full of liquid now and has to do
brain surgery. Even after the surgery, doctor can’t guarantee 100% Stephanie will wake up. The risk is too big.
So, her mom disapproved about the surgery and decided to have treatments &
medicines.
I also just finished watching a
K-drama, 49 Days. Stephanie and this film. Seems like want to remind us.
Appreciate and be thankful for everything that you have now. Even you are in
the poorest condition, the most pitiful one, or at the lowest level, please be
thankful that can still have a live, you can still breathe, you have many
people love you around, and so else. When you feel like want to abandon your life,
maybe there is someone who struggle really much for her/his life. It’s just not
fair. Please have a meaningful life. Please live well. Even you think that
nobody want you, perhaps you can be the most precious person for someone. So,
since that time, I promise myself I will be grateful for everything. And then
everyone, please pray together for Stephanie to get well soon, and wake up
soon.
For my friend, Stephanie, I
believe that you will survive for this life. Even we are not really close, I
hope that we will meet again one day, maybe at Sun Plaza again or anywhere. I
want to see you in health and fresh face. Get well soon.
